MINISTRIES
Presently, we have an active Youth Ministry and Children's program. TriPoint Kids is for K-5th Graders and The Refuge is for Jr. and Sr. High students. Both groups meet on Wednesday evenings, during the school year and get together for special events that are scheduled during the summer.
TriPoint Kids
TriPoint Kids meet on Wednesday evenings. We begin with a meal at 5:30, then we head to our area for Biblical lessons and activities. This ministry is for K-5th graders.
The Refuge Youth Ministry
The Refuge meets on Wednesday evenings. Dinner is served at 5:30 and that is followed by activities and practical Bible lessons. The Refuge is for 6th-12th graders.
Women's Prayer Ministry
Our women's prayer group is currently on hold until further notice. Please feel free to continue to send prayer requests to tripointalpena@gmail.com
Living Nativity
Every December, we re-enact the events that surround the birth of Jesus Christ. This re-enactment has been taking place since the 1950's and is one of the highlights of our church calendar. There is a need for people to help work on sets, update costumes and to be cast members. If you are interested in joining us, please e-mail us at tripointalpena@gmail.com
Feeding Kids Ministry
We have come alongside of the Feeding Kids Ministry in Alpena, which is operated by Resurrection Lutheran Church. We help pack food bags that go home with students that are faced with food insecurity. It has been a joy to work with them and to see our team come closer together.
